Updating City Data.
City Government is encouraged to assist in the collation of the data. This ensures the best available (and thus more current) information. This takes the form of an annual survey, which is scheduled for release April 2010. City entities such as City Government, Trade Missions and Urban Professionals can make submissions on behalf of city.
Cities that are not listed on our 256 cities can also make submissions for 2010.

What is City Benchmarking Data used for?
Data is used by 2thinknow for cross-checking/updating/expanding city information used in the Innovation Cities Index [city rankings], printed reports, workshop case studies and City Benchmarking Data sales.
Cities use the data to develop responses to key challenges, economic development planning, presentations, conferences, strategic planning and independent analysis sources for media releases – among other uses.
